This will be an interdisciplinary research conference on topics of common interest in Chemistry and Physics, preferably at the interface between the two sciences. Current problems in pure and applied science within the domains of Physical Chemistry, Chemical Physics, Computational and Theoretical Chemistry, Spectroscopy, Materials Science and Engineering, Biophysics, Mathematical Chemistry, History and Epistemology of Sciences will be presented in lectures and discussed during the event. There will also be a poster session intended for research students to present their work, learn and interact with the experienced participants. A special part of the program will be dedicated to commemorate the life and work of Alexander von Humboldt with the occasion of his 250th birth anniversary.
