EMBO GLOBAL LECTURE SERIES

Development, Stem Cells and Synthetic Biology

A journey through cells, forces, genes… and numbers

14 MARCH 2024

One of the greatest challenges facing humanity is the understanding of life. Recent studies have revealed that the keys to that understanding are intimately linked to our own origin during embryonic development. This EMBO Global Lecture Series brings together three leading scientists, members of the European Molecular Biology Organisation, who will offer a frontier view of how cells, mechanical forces and genes give rise to animal form during embryonic development, based on cutting-edge research at the interface of biology, physics and quantitative data science.
